DanORC PhD COURSE 2009 A SUCCES - NEW COURSE 2010

DanORCs PhD course Obesity on 5-7 October was a succes and the participants of the course rated it very good. Since almost thirty ph.d. students applied for participation the course will be offered again on 4-6 October 2010. Registration will again be through the Copenhagen Graduate School of Health Sciences.

The next centre meeting in DanORC is held on 14 December 2009 at 10-16 o'clock under the title Milk and Obesity - current research and ideas for the future . An Agenda is in progress.

PHD SCOLARSHIP in 'EFFECTS OF ROUX-EN-Y GASTRIC BYPASS IN REGULATION OF ENERGY BALANCE

At the Department of Human Nutrition, University of Copenhagen, a PhD scolarship in Effects of Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass on regulation of energy balance is vacant from 1 December 2009 to 30. November 2012. Read more about the scolarship here (PDF).

WINTER SCHOOL SEMINAR 3 'MECHANISMS IN ACTIONS' ON 1 DECEMBER 2009

The third seminar of the Winter School Bioactive Compounds is about Mechanisms in Action and will be held on 1 December 2009 in the afternoon . Speaker is amongst others Joseph Schwager, DSM Nutritional Products, Switzerland. The Winter School is organized by DHI, DanORC, Actifoods aps and Øresund Food Network.
